(Note: users require a Bitswift token (BITS) balance to use the export functions on Bitswift.cash as well as to execute any write action on the Bitswift blockchain)
Bitswift.cash is not an exchange, because of this there are no order books on Bitswift.cash. Users can only trade tokens on the decentralized exchange (DEX) on the blockchain.
To trade tokens on the DEX the tokens must first be exported to your Bitswift blockchain account. See the details below related to exporting tokens to blockchain accounts:
https://bitswiftcash.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021148932-Asset-Exports
After tokens are exported to your Bitswift blockchain account you may trade them on the decentralized exchange (DEX).
To trade BITS for ARDR (Ardor) or IGNIS tokens on your blockchain account:
Access your blockchain account: (https://myaccount.bitswift.network)
Change to chain BITS on your blockchain account.
Click "Coin Exchange" from the left side menu.
On the right side fill in the details for your order.
Execute the trade by clicking the "Buy" button.
To trade assets (BBTC / BETH / CASH) on the decentralized exchange you must first add the supported asset ID into your blockchain account.
In your blockchain account click the "Assets" button on the left menu, then from the right click the button to "Add Asset"
Next add the Asset ID for the particular asset your choosing to trade through your blockchain account, continue adding any asset IDs for tokens you wish to trade on the DEX.
A list of Bitswift supported asset IDs can be found here:
https://bitswift.cash/explorer/market
After clicking the "Add Asset" button with the correct asset ID, you will see the order books populate for the particular blockchain asset.
In the example below we have added BitswiftBTC asset ID "13045451260956193623" which allows us to see the order books on the DEX for Bitswifts supported BTC asset (BBTC).
To sell a token use the right side red sell form, to buy a token use the left side green buy form.
Set the quantity of the asset you wish to sell or purchase , set the price rate to your preference, and click the sell or buy button. (note, you must have balance of that token to sell it and you must have BITS fee on account to execute the request on the blockchain)
If there are any available buy orders set at the price you have set your trade will be matched and your sale will be finalized (non-reversible). If there are no buy orders open at the price you had set your sell order will sit in the order book on the blockchain until the trade is fulfilled or until the order is cancelled.
Open orders can be cancelled by the user in control of the blockchain account. The process is as follows:
To cancel an open order click the "Open Orders" button on the left side menu to see any open orders on your blockchain account:
Next type in your blockchain accounts passphrase and click the cancel button to officially cancel the order.
After trading is complete you may choose to import any supported assets back into Bitswift.cash to export them back to their native chains (BTC/ETH/ATOM). Alternatively users can choose to store the assets on their Bitswift blockchain accounts if the asset is native to the Bitswift blockchain (IGNIS/ARDR/BITS/CASH).
It is important to note that orders executed on the blockchain are permanent.
